Hi, I am Neil and I was previously Chair of HOPE. Now I am going to be supporting the organisation as NurseSpecialist Advisor. I have been a Children’s Nurse for twenty years now and I have worked in Paediatric Neurology and Palliative Care for most of that twenty years. I have been an Epilepsy Nurse for the last seven years. I am also the Nurse Advisor to Dravet Syndrome UK epilepsy charity. 

 

I have a strong belief that when families get the right information and support, that life gets better, and when families and young people are enabled and empowered, rather than left in the dark, good things can happen. 

I am really excited to be able to continue to support HOPE using my experience.
