NADINE GURR

I became involved with HOPE in 2012, because I loved the work this small grass roots charity was carrying out to support families affected by epilepsy, I became a Trustee, and now Chair.

Working with the Team to run HOPE is a full time commitment but when I see the children who attend HOPE sessions enjoying life and coping successfully with epilepsy. When a parent tells us how relieved they are to have found support and a group of people who understand what they are going through. When I learn of a family who have now have peace of mind because their child has an Anti-Suffocation Pillow I think every hour spent working for this charity was worth it.
